August 27, 2004: It's been a ridiculous amount of time since I updated the site, sorry. I've been busy. Those of you who know the family will understand….the show HAS progressed a LOT though!  Greg and Nora (you know who you are) asked if we had updated pictures online so I was inspired to get some more of 'em up…
We have been busy busy busy….since the last page, we have finished the stairway (see picture here)....

And then when that was done, we could move on to the UPSTAIRS!!   (picture below)
The first step on the 2nd floor is to put up some WALLS! We start with the West wall and then do East, the North, then South. Why?  I'm not exactly sure….I think it was so that the east and west ones were exactly matched so that when we put the roof trusses up there weren't any surprises in measurements…..The picture below shows the first part of the West wall laying down over the stairway. We'll stand it up and then build the 2nd part and so on...

The 2nd floor!

Here's the 2nd part of the West wall ready to stand up.

I was apparently a real picture-slacker fjor the next few weeks. Andrew came over and helped and so did Fred and a bunch of others and we got all of the upstairs outer walls and sheathing up along with all of the interior walls upstairs to divide up the rooms. Move on to the next SAGA PAGE and you can see the next steps… (this is like a cooking show...just pop it in the oven and….VOILA!!

Here you see a couple of the people who helped stand the first wall (not all of 'em)..Tony in red, me behind him, Doug's back and Marilyn there too...
