November 29, 2003 (cont'd): On the 23rd it snowed!  An inch or two of wet snow covered the ground at our house. The picture herer is our back yard.  We took a couple days off from the

work in order to let this cold snap pass. Then we got back to putting in the drains.

As of right now (evening of the 29th) we are done with most of the perimeter drain. We have a few more feet of bottom pipe to lay in and about 50 more feet of top pipe. The hardest part is done. It's graded well and we're happy. Here are a couple pictures of the trench filled with rock and surrounded by the mud-proof fabric.  The upright pipes are for the downspouts to flow into. That part comes WAY later!
